1️⃣Strength training is a CRUCIAL part of fitness for women of all ages.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 2️⃣Strength training helps you develop lean muscle AND triggers your body to burn more fat while you're at rest.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 3️⃣Women who strength train end up losing more weight than women who only restrict their calories or do cardio.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 4️⃣Doctors actually recommend strength training to prevent osteoarthritis and osteoporosis as you age, particularly after menopause.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ 5️⃣And for all my fellow moms out there, back and hip pain are super common after having children.
